Tree Removal

Are you experiencing tree care problems?

There are several reasons to consider tree removal. Diseased, damaged or dying trees lack structural integrity, posing hazards for humans and property. A tree in close proximity to a structure may obstruct views, cause foundation issues, create risks during severe storms or deposit debris in pathways. An unsightly tree detracts from the aesthetic appeal of your home.

Let us eliminate these vexing issues. A1 Short & Tall Tree Service our tree care service specialists will help you determine if tree removal is the right solution for you. We’ll climb high and low to solve your tree care problems.

Stump Grinding

Do you have an unattractive, pesky tree stump hindering your lawn care maintenance? Stump grinding is the solution.

Avoid tripping hazards, lower property values, providing a home for unwanted critters like termites and snakes or hindering your ability to grow new vegetation. Stump grinding is an efficient, cost-effective way to remove a stump from its roots. Our trained professionals level these obstructions, restoring the original charm of your lawn. As an added bonus, you can use the mulch resulting from stump grinding in other areas of your landscape—or we can remove it for you.

We make it look easy. Stump removal is an A1 Short & Tall Tree Service specialty. Give us a call for your stump grinding needs today.

Fire Mitigation

Fire mitigation is when the fuels are removed around your home or business by creating a defensible space. This helps to minimize the threat and impact that a fire poses. If a fire approaches your home or commercial property it will be less likely to spread to the structure and makes it easier for firefighters to do their job and defend your structure.

Things WE can do to be proactive in creating a defensible space include but are not limited to

* Trim tree branches inside the defensible space so limbs are 10-15 feet above the ground.

* Trim trees hanging over the structure or come within 15 feet of chimneys.

* Remove trees that are weak, dead or overcrowded inside the defensible space.

* Remove any dead, stressed or diseased trees or shrubs.

Things YOU can do to be proactive in creating a defensible space include but are not limited to

* Clean gutters and roof so they are free of leaves and any debris.

* Stack firewood at least 30 feet away from any structure.

* Remove potential ladder fuels from beneath trees. This is any vegetation that will help the fire spread from the ground to treetops.

* Keep grass and weeds mowed around your home or business.

* Remove any dead bushes, plants or vegetation.
